With a new season rapidly approaching, you likely have Competitions from 2024 that were set up just right … and wish you could keep all those great settings for a 2025 version of that Competition. Now you can!

We have just released a new feature that simplifies the management of recurring competitions. Clone a Competition helps you stay organized and save time by duplicating the settings for your Competitions and Schedules from season to season, freeing you just to update the specific items that have changed.

Key Benefits:

• Save time by carrying over your existing Competition setup

• Maintain organization by archiving old Competitions

• Seamlessly transition between seasons or years

What Gets Cloned:

• All Competition and Schedule settings

• Assignors and their permissions (or restrictions)

• Payor information and game fees

• Competition Portal users

• Additional configuration settings like Share Competition, Self-Assign settings, and more — basically, everything except the matches

How It Works:

1. Clone your existing competition

2. Give it a new name

3. Import your new matches

4. Update any settings as needed for the new season

After cloning, you can adjust any settings to match your new season's requirements, including assignors, their permissions/restrictions, payors, game fees, or other elements.

Remember to archive your old Competition when finished to keep your active Competitions list tidy, relevant, and organized!
