Overview

Quick-Assign is a new selection method that allows assignors to assign officials to matches by clicking an icon instead of using drag-and-drop. This feature provides an alternative workflow option within the Assigning Workspace.

What's New

Click-to-Assign Functionality

• Assign officials by clicking the quick-assign icon

• Eliminates accidental drag-and-drop errors on mobile devices

Dual Method Support

• Quick-Assign and drag-and-drop both remain available

• Use either method as needed

• No configuration required - both methods work simultaneously

How It Works

1. Navigate to the Assigning Workspace

2. Locate the Quick-Assign green arrow icon next to the official’s name

3. Click the green arrow to assign the selected official

4. The assignment is applied immediately in tentative status

Use Cases

Quick-Assign works well for:

• Single, targeted assignments

• Working on touchscreen devices

Drag-and-Drop remains useful for:

• Moving officials between matches

• Visual assignment workflows

• Complex reassignment scenarios

Getting Started

The Quick-Assign feature is now active in your Assigning Workspace. Both assignment methods are available immediately without any setup required.
