🚀 New Feature: Quick-Assign Selection Method
Overview
Quick-Assign is a new selection method that allows assignors to assign officials to matches by clicking an icon instead of using drag-and-drop. This feature provides an alternative workflow option within the Assigning Workspace.

Click-to-Assign Functionality
Assign officials by clicking the quick-assign icon
Eliminates accidental drag-and-drop errors on mobile devices
Dual Method Support
Quick-Assign and drag-and-drop both remain available
Use either method as needed
No configuration required - both methods work simultaneously
How It Works
Navigate to the Assigning Workspace
Locate the Quick-Assign green arrow icon next to the official’s name
Click the green arrow to assign the selected official
The assignment is applied immediately in tentative status
Use Cases
Quick-Assign works well for:
Single, targeted assignments
Working on touchscreen devices
Drag-and-Drop remains useful for:
Moving officials between matches
Visual assignment workflows
Complex reassignment scenarios
