🆕 Feature Update: Match Difficulty for Observer Reports

Overview

A new terminology type, Match Difficulty, is now available for Observer Reports. This addition allows Observers to indicate the difficulty level of a match when completing their observation form, providing valuable context for official performance evaluation.

Feature Details

Match Difficulty (Observer Terminology)

Account administrators can now add Match Difficulty as a terminology type, giving Observers a way to capture the difficulty level of matches they evaluate.

Key Benefits:

  • Provides context for official performance—a solid performance in a high-difficulty match tells a different story than the same performance in a normal match

  • Customizable difficulty levels to match your program's needs

  • Helps identify officials ready for advancement to more challenging assignments

  • Supports more informed assigning decisions based on historical performance across difficulty levels

Configuration

Full-Access Administrators can configure Match Difficulty levels from the Observer Terminology settings. Create levels that reflect your program's match difficulty (e.g., Normal, Difficult, Very Difficult) or customize terminology to fit your organization's standards.
