Self Assign Pending Requests Information
For the pending requests table in self assign, it would be great to have the “magnifying glass” column too to look at more detailed information. This is useful to better schedule other matches around previous requests.
Freezing Rows/Columns of Table
I’d like to request the ability to freeze or pin rows and columns in the game assignment table. On a mobile device, the table extends beyond the width and height of the screen, requiring frequent horizontal and vertical scrolling when reviewing available games. Once I scroll, it becomes difficult to remember which column or game I’m looking at, especially when trying to compare multiple assignments. Allowing users to freeze rows and columns would make the table significantly easier to navigate and compare on smaller screens. This would be a very helpful usability improvement for referees reviewing and selecting assignments on mobile devices. Thank you for considering it.
Import games from other platforms API
Should be possible to import games from other platforms for the officials to put into calendar. Most of your instructions are for assignors only.
Integration w/Arbiter
It would be beneficial if Arbiter games would automatically block the time and day.
Payment and W9
The payment information is in your own account, why do we get a random email from what looks to be a spammer asking for tax information? This all should be done within our account on the site. This day and age and the amount of hackers out there this email from no-reply@routable-mail.com seems very suspect. If it wasn’t for others telling me that was the email we had to complete, I wouldn’t have done it. Please update this process for the future.
Ability to see the match crew
It would be nice to be able to see who I’m assigned with when the match is released to me instead of having to accept and then hit the “contact crew” option to be able to see who I’m working with
Observer reports streamlined
Right now there are over a dozen click points for each observation report plus comments. Is it possible to set up the list of items (e.g. offside, positioning, movement, teamwork) so they are all editable from the same screen without needing to click in, select and save to exit. Instead all fields could be filled out, the rating scale would be available on that landing screen and an area for comments where they currently get populated after being saved. would half the number of user interaction points and streamline the process.
All Assignments
On the All Assignments and Assignments page can we have option to show Crew on the game? Clicking the Notes icon on Assignments then scroll to contact crew to see folks on the game is cumbersome- especially if you have a heavy game weekend or schedule in general.
Payments
Payment summary report. It does not show all payments for the year selected. When I select 2026 I only see one but there’s two when I scroll. The below section of Batch Payments should follow the selected year. Otherwise it’s confusing.
I use REFSIX. When a game is imported there are always three mandatory fields left open in REFSIX.
They are: Team Size Half Time This prevents any changes to the game in REFSIX unless those fields are updated. The offer to disconnect syncing is there, but, I don’t want to turn that off. I’ve attached two pictures for this. Could REFSIGHT have an area called REFSIX defaults in it? Perhaps for each age group there could be default settings for: Team Size Bench Size Half Time Amount If a user could override those in personal settings it would also be great. Currently, I have to modify every single game in REFSIX with the three fields above.
Blockout Specific Assignor
When entering a Blockout, be able to select the assignor that the Blockout applies to. Use case: As a referee, I will commit to working for an assignor using Ref Insight, but the game won’t be assigned for some period of time. In that time, I will appear to be available to all assignors in Ref Insight and could be assigned by another assignor that my schedule will not allow me to be assigned to do a game for.
Observations-templates for importing and report for exporting
It would be great to develop a template where we can upload observer reports for referees. The report would then be accessible under the referee (that the referee would be able to see for the game they were observed) and observation area. At the same time, being able to export observer reports so that we can track which referees in our area have been observed, the feedback provided in their observation as well as who observed them. Other data useful in the report would be the event that was observed, date observed and how many years that the referee has been certified. Filling out observations is important but if we can not share them with other mentors or use reports to find out who have been observed and area of improvement, we missing out on utilizing an important tool.
Ability to be "Attached" to a team
similar to the conflict entry post, In another assigning platform I was able to “attach” myself to my sons team. Any times his team had a game it would create a block in the system for me at the specific time. It was especially useful for tournament scheduling. My assignor knew where I would be and could schedule me as needed knowing I would still be able to make it to my sons games. It created a system where I had nearly zero send backs,
Pending game not displayed
When the referee requested a self-assign game and it is still not confirmed, but the game must be canceled. The referee must write all the information to the assignor, but the game information is not displayed in the pending assignments until the assignor confirms it. It turns out that the game request cannot be canceled in advance. Pending games should be displayed for convenience
Set starting location
Please provide a way for officials to set a different starting location - for example from home on weekends and from work on weekdays.
Ability to "block" a referee when they don't set availability
We have all experienced a referee who does not block their availability. Then when you assign them, they turn it back claiming “not available”. It would be good to move them to “unavailable by assignor”.
Conflict entry
Many of the youthful referees I assign also play for a team in the area. It would be beneficial to have the ability for the referee to align themselves with a team (their own or a sibling). This would allow for optimizing the referee at a location.
